10 highlights we want to mention from 2017
What a year!
What an eventful year 2017 was, for us but surely also for many of you!
We looked back at the year that just ended and we came up with 10 points that are especially memorable for us, and of course we wanted to share them with you! First of all we want to thank all of you, our amazing customers, for making the year what it was. We could never have done it without you! We look forward to writing 10 equally amazing things at the end of this year. ?
So, in no particular order, here are 10 things that we will remember from 2017:
1. Release of the new Workbuster system!
The biggest thing for us was of course the release o the new Workbuster system! A lot of hard work saw the new system being released in the beginning of the year, and we are are so happy with the result. The new Workbuster system does not only look amazing with a new, fresh and modern design, but it does of course also include heaps of new functionalities that will simplify the work for recruiters.
2. The first career page is launched
As the new system was released we started the job of moving current customers over from the previous system to the new one, as well as taking completely new customers live in the new system. The first customer went live on February 20, and the customer was Linas Matkasse! You can find their careers page here, and we just want to say that it is so exciting to be working together with you!
Of course releasing a whole new system isn't always super smooth, and we want to thank our customers for being patient while we've been working on making the system better for you. A massive thanks to you!
3. Awarded the DI-Gasell for the third year in a row!
We're honoured to be selected a DI-Gasell company for the third year in a row! The Gasell gala took place on December 5th at Konserthuset in Stockholm, and it was fantastic as always. Thank you DI-Gasell for yet another year as a DI-Gasell company!
4. Awarded Super Company 2017 by Veckans Affärer
Not only did we get selected DI-Gasell, but were also selected one of 641 Super Companies in Sweden by Veckans affärer in collaboration with Bisnode. It was the first time we received this title, and we are of course incredibly happy! Thank you!
5. The Workbuster family is growing fast - now over 20 employees!
The Workbuster family grew to over 20 people! We outgrew our kitchen furniture, so we had to get new tables to be able to fit everyone for our weekly Friday breakfasts (and we still haven't managed to get everyone in the same picture!).
6. Started the Buster Blog
Buster started blogging! Okay, he may be getting some help holding the pen... This is something that we've been wanting to do for a while, and we're excited that it finally happened. The aim is for the blog to be a place where customers and non-customers can go to find information, not only about us and the Workbuster system, but also about recruitment and human resources in general. 7. The release of Workbuster analytics
One of the bigger functionalities that we released this year was Workbuster Analytics. Now you'll get even more and accurate data from your job ads which makes it possible for you to evaluate what works well and what works not so well, which gives you the opportunity to focus your investments on what really brings results.
8. Integration with Broadbean
We continue to expand our advertising channels and during the year we've added a few new job sites that help you reach even more candidates, both in Sweden, the Nordic countries and internationally!
In November the integration with Broadbean went live (Broadbean is one of the world's largest job platform and contains 7000 channels for job sites and social media platsforms globally), and in December we also added Norwegian site Finn.no. And there is more to come.
9. Ski trip to the alps ⛷
In April we did our annual ski trip, this time to Disentis in the Swiss alps. We spent a few days in the snow skiing, eating fabulous food and laughing until our tummies hurt. Complete bliss!
10. Ending on a high
To finish off the year we received the good news that we had won a project grant in an innovation competition organised by the Swedish Post- & Telestyrelsen (PTS) in conjunction with Arbetsförmedlingen! The theme for the competition was "A job market for everyone", and our project "Hello Talent!" received a project grant. We are of course super excited about this, and we will definitely tell you more about it later this year.
